Multiplication-Fun to learn-

This week me and my friend teivahnna had to choose a maths game and play it and explain how we play the games.so we choose the games multiplication  and what we had to do  was one person had to show a question well the other person had to answer .I like multiplication  because its fun to learn and i mostly learn my maths from my school and parents and i hope i can learn a little bit higher on the multiplication:)

We had a task to make a poster about blog commenting.We used this site called Canva and we got to choose a way we can do the presentation I did the poster but you can choose like different things like Facebook cover presentations.So I made this for blog commenting.

Pania and the stars-Matariki animation

Me and my friend Te Aroha made an animation for Matariki about a young girl named Pania who was hungry and went for a fish. She fell asleep and her waka washed up on shore. She saw a glow in the corner of her eye and found 7 pebbles on the beach. She put them into the sky and they became the stars of Matariki.

How do tadpoles turn into frogs

Have you ever wondered how tadpoles grow into frogs.they start off by eggs and go through 2 more stages and then finally turn into frog.

Firstly

Their in a group of eggs called a spawn eggs for 6 to 21 days.soon after that they will hatch out of their eggs and begin their life.They stay in the water until they grow into a little tadpole.

After that

It turns into a little tadpole and will still swim in the water.It will have its tail,eyes,mouth and a sucker.They usually will stick between floating weeds or grass in the water using sticky organs between its mouth and belly area.The tadpoles get tiny teeny teeth which helps them to grate food.

Next

After about 6 to 9 weeks little legs will start to pop out and it will start to grow a long tail and after about 9 weeks the tadpole will start to look like a tiny frog.

Finally

After about 12 to 16 weeks depending on the food supply and water it will be fully grow into a frog and will start more lives by laying eggs and making new froggies.

Opening statement
Axolotls are mexican walking fish.They are amphibians who spend their lives underwater and know as Mexican fish.


Appearance
An Axolotl is grey or white in colour with black eyes.The colour of an Axolotl depends on its cell.Axolotls can grow up to 30cm in length and weigh from 60 to 227 grams.The Axolotl ages but it remains in larvae form for its entire life.



Behavior
Female and male Axolotls mate and lay their eggs underwater.Axolotls can live up to 15 years in the wild and regenerate themselves and gills if they get hurt by their predators.


Diet
Axolotls are carnivores so they mostly eat meat.They eat mollusks, worms, insects, larvae,crustaceans,small fish,brine shrimp,California black worms and salmon pellets,But they just eat anything that can fit in their mouth.

Predators
Axolotls predators are carps and tilapia fish and birds known as Storks and herons and some people eat them because  they like roasted Axolotls.

Closing statement
Axolotls are interesting creatures.It's related to tiger salamander and its endangered species,It may be an ugly creature but with an interesting life.

my brother because he plays in the Roosters under 16s

and played in the NZ touch team.

Bayleigh bentley hape

Their personal information

Bayleigh bentley hape was born on the 8th of March 2000.He was born at the kawakawa hospital.His dad’s name is Jason and the mum is Lavon he has a older brother Jaydenn and a young sister Summah(Me) and he has 2 bulldogs 1 boy named Jonty and 1 girl named Charlie and their brother and sister.He also has two cats 1 boy named Boots and 1 girl named Bella and 1 lonely fish named Scotty.

What he had struggled through

He had an operation for a hernia because he was getting stressed when he was younger, he always wanted to be the best and worked hard at it! And he had to get over shyness to get where he is.He also got a few sprains in his ankle.He had to make the big decision at just 15 years old to leave all his family and friends behind and move to Sydney to follow his dream of playing league in Australia!!

The important people in his life

The important people in Bayleigh's life are  his family first and foremost, his mum and dad, his nana and grandad and uncle Leon and aunty Hera who he lives with, they take great care of him! And he has had some really good coaches in his life that have taught him well, his older brother has been a big influence in his life!!

What happened in his childhood

Bayleigh Grew up in kawakawa and started to play rugby for uk midgets and league for the moerewa tiger cubs.He then played rugby for Moerewa, Northland and North zone, he played league for Tigers and the Northern Swords! He started to play touch in whangarei with his brother Jaydenn for the Galaxy team and TTT and went on to get selected for The NZ under 15s mixed touch team and toured Australia! At 15 he was given the opportunity to play league in Australia for the Botany Rams in Sydney and then was offered a 2 year contract with the Sydney Roosters under 16s nrl team!!

What he achieved

Bayleigh's biggest achievement to date is definitely being selected for theNZ touch team and also being offered a 2 year contract with the Roosters! All the awards and player of the day awards he has been given have all been humbling for him but playing for NZ and playing in the NRL junior competition is a dream come true!!

Some interesting facts

Bayleigh lives in Sydney Australia with 2 other boys who play for the Rabbitohs under 16s team, his older brother has just moved over to Sydney to be with him!  He trains 4 nights a week and plays league on Saturdays! He loves his family very much and has a great support system around him, he also spends alot of time with NRL players who train him and keep him on the right track!! He loves expensive boots and shoes and is a very humble person! And he is my big brother, and i am extremely proud of him!!

This is my story about my weekend

TITLE: Meeting my Nana tilly

‘Yay’ I jumped in the air for excitement.I couldn’t wait to see my 94 year old Nan Tilly.We drove to my Nana Jill's and I fell asleep on the way.It felt liked I time traveled like the movie doctor who. We finally got to my Nan's house I dashed up the stairs excited to see my nana tilly.I haven't seen my nana tilly in like 1 and a half years I've been begging my mum and dad just to go see her,But I guess this was the year.

I gave her a big hug and also a little kiss.I Had to help her around the house I also made her lunch I wanted this day to be perfect.I sat next to her and told her that Bayleigh and Jaydenn they are doing good.Me and my Mum started making lunch for everyone elas.Mum made some chiken and I made some Saleds.

We called my dad and my grandad to the table.I handed the plates out and everyone dug in.I got My nana tilly a bun cut in four squares with healthy stuff in it.Also some grapes.My nana stared to eat up and I gave her a heathy drinkI started to munch up chinkin in a bun.

My aunty came to come pick my nana tilly I said goodbye and gave her another big huge I was really hoping I can see her again one day.I walked down the stairs to help her into the car. “Bye nan love you,”I mumbled.I walked back up the stairs and fell asleep on the couch.I had the most weirdest dream ever.I was in a magical winter wonderland there was talking gingerbread.But sadly that ended because my ‘DAD’ chucked my fat head jonty on me to wake me up because it was dinner time.

I sat at the table waiting for dinner and there was chicken again ‘YUM’ we had salads and my ‘FAVOURITE’ Icecream for desert with an extra topping ‘CHOCOLATE SAUCE.I quickly swallowed and munched down my dinner so I can eat my ‘YUMMY’ dessert I was sooo excited. I was almost finished my Ice Cream But I got a really cold ‘BRAINFREEZE’It was like getting your tongue stuck to  icicle but I slowly got rid of it.It was time to go back home I said goodbye to my nana jill and my grandad I carred my dogs to the truck then I hopped in the car and my dad beebed at my nana to say goodbye I fell aslepp.Then I feel asleep on the way home.

Dreamgiver

There was a dark shadow a man with his wings flittering in the air into a house.He opened up the window very quietly without one noise he flew to a little girl with a basket of golden eggs.The man cracked an egg in the shoe and the girls dream came alive.He flew over to a little boy and cracked another egg on his book about baseball and once again his dream came true.He flew to the other eggs and made all of the dreams come true.BUT one egg flew on a boys book about fairy tales and mythical creatures the crack was to big and the little boy actually got sucked up into the book.He woke up in the jungle and he started to wonder around very quiet.He found a BIG temple and and something mysterious was in there..It was a beast.The beast had big red eyes,Huge black body with enormous black claws.The little boy ran as fast as he can like a usain bolt.He ran to a cliff there was no choice But to JUMP OFF.But then the the little man flew over to the monster and put magic on him and a big orange tree grew over the monster and then it was capture.The little boy woke up and it was all just a dream.Or was it???
