Week 6 blog writing

Feeling like there is no way to see the dawn of sunlight,sitting in the cold darkness. Squished like im in a big crowd but yet i sit here alone,waiting to see if there will every be a escape. All lonely,barley making a sound. Hearing the joy and happiness of the people,wondering  to see what it would feel like  to have joy in my heart. As I sit alone in the darkness , the biggest thunder of noise,shaking the world up above. The bright sunlight makes its way into my dark loneliness,I see what looks like what can be above  me. I punch a way into the hole with all my strength,fighting for my life, I come upon the world to the sun light hurting my eyes, I crawl my way up to the surface above and seeing what looks to be humans that i have been hearing with joy. As they look at me with terror,feeling free as ever.

Blog writng week 5

We had 20 minutes to write a story about a picture of the internet. my story was about a bird trapped in a cage and his mum saving him. Hope you enjoy my story :)

Trapped in here feeling like its been Millions of years in capture and torture. Waiting for someone or something to find me. Feeling bored as ever and crying for help 24/7. The sun was setting once again,with sorrow in my body, feeling like im going to die here,alone and cold. ¨Mum!¨ calling for her with a tear in my eye. Probably never going to see the one i miss most, as these thoughts go across my head another cold night passes by. My feathers wrap my body trying to keep a bit warm. As i look into the distance i see a familiar shape fly to me. My heart was like a drum beating away, thinking that im going to be saved. Feeling relived  as my eyes light up.As the bird came closer and closer it started to look familiar. ¨Mum.¨ As happy as ever and joy in my heart. My mum finally found me. she opened the trap and I flew out as fast as lighting and never looking back.

Term 4 week 3 Room 5&6 Assembly xox

This week in Room 5 & 6 we were on assembly for the week. Since it was Halloween a few days ago,it was a Halloween themed assembly. Some of the items we did was our Te Reo selfies we made and presented them. Our other one was a dance for the movie Coco and made Day of the dead masks. Also a song about resilience which is a school value in out school and out last item was another dance that was a Halloween themed. It was so much fun and had a good time in this assembly. xox

birds eyes view-Photo challenge

On Monday we had 15 minuets to create a picture in a group of us lying on the floor from a birds eye view. It was pretty fun and the idea we came up with was alright. This activity was all about team work,communication,team building and creativity.My group is the top right :)

 

Geometry shapes

This week in Room 6 we have been learning about Geometry and this activity is shapes in 3D and 2D shapes,I focused more on 3D shapes and had to find if the shapes have faces,vertices and edges.It was a bit hard because at first i didn't know what a vertices is but then found out what it was it became more easier.
