Maths eyes week 6

This week in Room 6 we have been learning about using our Maths eyes. Maths eyes is when you find different shapes and sizes in a certain picture.  Maths eyes is really easy with just finding different things in a picture. I had to ask questions about what is in the picture and what I can see personally.

What is a Quality blog post?

For week 6, we had to learn and explain what a quality blog must have. A quality blog post should explain what you are working on to give the reader an idea of what you're learning. It was easy to learn about this i just need to remember to do to. My next step is to put more depth into a blog post.

Gold mining in otago -week 5 Reading

For reading,we read a  book about 'Gold mining in otago' and write down facts from that book about the Gold mining. I used pictures to back up some of my facts as well.

Math eyes-Week 5

This week for math eyes we had to write question for this picture of a building.

Carpool karaoke

This week in room 5 and 6, it was our assembly. As a class item we did a carpool karaoke,We sat in the car for 15 minuets and lip synced to a song that we choose.

Reading-Possums

In my reading group, We did a reading activity about possums. We had to right about what we learned and what topic it was under (e.g Appearance,habitat) We also had to write some fun facts.

student conference

Last year we used to have a parent teachers interview were our parents will talk to our teacher and see how were doing But this year we ( as the students) hosted the interview and is now called student conference. At the student conference we talked to our parents about what are goals were and how we did at school.
